I paint for people who feel something stirring but do not yet have language for it. For those who are done outsourcing authority. For those who are ready to hold their own power without apology. My pieces invite contemplation rather than consumption. They are meant to be stood in front of, not skimmed past.
My visual language often pulls from religious and mystical symbolism, but I approach it psychologically as well as spiritually. I am fascinated by the line between martyrdom and embodiment, between rescuing and standing firm. I examine intensity without chaos, power without cruelty, surrender without collapse.
There is often fire in my work. There is often a heart inside the fire.
Much of my work engages archetypal imagery: seraphim, testimony, elemental forces, cosmic symbolism. Not as decoration, but as inquiry. I am less interested in illustrating belief and more interested in interrogating it. What does rebirth look like when it does not require self erasure? What does strength look like when it is not domination, but integrity? What happens when the divine is not above us, but awakening through us?
I create work that lives at the threshold.
My paintings explore what happens when the sacred is internalized instead of outsourced, when salvation becomes integration instead of escape, when devotion stops meaning depletion. I am interested in sovereignty within spirituality. I paint the tension between transcendence and embodiment, between fire and structure, between the heart and the storm around it.
If my work unsettles you a little, good. If it steadies you, even better. I am not interested in comfort as anesthesia. I am interested in clarity as liberation.
